Since 1995, Acorus Restoration has been at the forefront of restoration in Ontario. We are the largest and most comprehensive supplier of seeds and plants for native upland (prairie/meadow), wetland and woodland species (trees/shrubs/herbaceous) in Ontario. Given enough lead-time we are able to supply appropriate species for any sized project. With over 350 species of native plants we have the capacity to tailor plant communities for a wide variety of restoration and naturalization projects.
We require new wholesale customers to fill out a credit application. The first purchase will have to be on a cash basis and afterwards we give terms of Net 30 days, 2% interest per month is added automatically to overdue accounts. 30% deposit is required to hold orders.

We have made up three types of seed mixes to create wildlife habitat:

Prairie Grass Mix – a seed mix for dryor medium soil that has a mix of the dominant prairie grasses
Prairie Wildflower Mix – a dry or medium soil seed mix with a selection of wildflowers
Wet Meadow Mix – A mixture of hardy wildflowers and grasses that can take moist conditions
We provide a complete kit with 72 cell growing tray and dome, custom soil mix, vermiculite, seed packets of native wildflowers, growing instructions, a simple garden plan and an educational plan put together for grades K-8. The educational plans are tailored to the Ontario curriculum.
