May 24 10 am - Watergardens, Ponds and Wet Areas

Watergardens, Ponds and Wet Areas - Talk and Walk

If you want to double the diversity of wildlife on your property you need to have water. It is amazing how even a small pond attracts a large variety of creatures from mosquito eating dragonflies and frogs to birds that need a drink. I will talk about the basics of creating a water garden and planting a wet area on your property. I will also go through a large number of plants that grow naturally in our area that are hardy and suitable for a garden setting.
